I need to get a clock movement with a longer shaft before I can mount the face backing, but this is the basic idea for the clock I've been thinking about making for a long time. Basically a discarded 48 tooth chainring and a used up 12-32 cassette, cleaned and fastened into an arc.
Also, I suck at taking pictures of shiny metal objects. |

So, I've set up a build script to make building from Starteam as easy as humanly possible. Granted one of my team still has issues, but we won't talk about that person. One of the people I just trained is doing a great job (called S hereafter). When S comes to me, it's because there's a real issue or he just needs some little thing explained. Which is great.
S comes to me because one of the coders (called B hereafter) is complaining that something he committed isn't getting moved up. S asks me to look into it, because he can't figure out what B is complaining about. Thirty minutes and a couple rounds of email later, I can't figure out what B thinks is wrong either. B wants to setup a netmeeting with S. Just one problem. S is totally, completely blind. Doh!
S and I eventually decided to ignore B and just go ahead with the build. Instead we'll just speculate on what recreational pharmaceuticals he's on. |
